Happy bank holiday weekend everyone. I’ve been bizarrely shattered this week, no energy, lethargic you know the score, so a long weekend is exactly what I need right now. I don’t really have any plans at all for this weekend other than seeing my family and my girls (we may do a cheeky afternoon tea on Monday). Jase is on the last legs of his masters now, so I won’t get to see him for a little while whilst he’s heads down working. His deadlines always fall around bank holidays annoyingly. It’s actually our 4 year anniversary in a couple of weeks too … crazy eh.

So today’s post is a brand spanking new outfit, with 2 new purchases that I just adore. Every now and then I end up going on a bit of a frivolous splurge and this month I managed to do a bit of online shopping with the many discount codes that were floating around. When I saw these Warehouse floral print shorts I fell in love, I’m pretty sure I managed to get 40% off them in the Asos sale (taking them to around £27. I actually love them. Secondly, although no discounts for this one, I found the dream Marni H&M heels on ebay, IN MY SIZE. I’ve been lusting after these shoes ever since I saw the press releases. I actually managed to get a VIP entry on the launch day but it clashed with a work meeting so I missed out. Anyway, when I saw these I literally just had to snap them up.
Now on this little naughty little shopping note, my sister evilly influenced me into another online splurge last night. Aghhh. To add some context right now my room looks like TK MAX, clothes bursting out my wardrobe, bags and packages of clothes deliveries all over the room, enough shoes to fit an army. It does make me panic some times about the volume of things I own (hence the blog sale I’m lining up). Anyway … I still treated myself to a couple of little bits and luckily used her 20% student discount. I should add, I’d wanted these boots for ages, they were on my bday list too. Does that make it okay?

My boyfriend is also doing his masters! He gets a little insane around exam term so I usually don’t see him for the whole term, but this year we’ve got the blog to look after so I have to book in a day every week to take outfit pictures! Haha :P
