So you know when you order things online, you get tons of instant excitement, but then you have the dreaded wait, which for someone with my level of patience is always rather tricky. You get a little anxious buzz, will it fit, will I like it, I hope it’s nice. This normally lasts 2-5 days … NORMALLY. I had to wait a ruddy 30 days for this dream boat dress. But thankfully … it was worth it.

Pre my birthday i’d been scouting out things for my summer wardrobe and this dress became my object of my fascination. I’d seen it in Zara, £49.99 and I just adored the print and cut of the dress. I needed an XS and typically they had non in stock, at all, EVER. I kind of gave up hope after a while until I spotted the EXACT (and I mean literally EXACT) same dress on sheinside.com …
I’ve heard rumours about some high street retailers not actually designing their own range and just importing it from over sea’s. The Oasis event I went to this week reaffirmed these thoughts as Mel Rickey and the designers also hinted to such thing. Anyway, I adore Zara nonetheless, so no bother to them, but HELLO to the dress of my dreams, in my size, available online and …. wait for it … £25. Can you believe it?
I ordered it instantly, had a horrendous wait, but it did mean that when it finally arrived it was a super nice little surprise to come home too. It was delivered the same day as my Marni Heels and it was like a dream combination delivered to my doorstep.
I’m also, believe it or not, wearing nude tights in this outfit. I’ve never really worn them before, I tend to just go bare leg but jees man, it’s like instant airbrushing. They add a nice little colour to your pins and also these Charons ones are also super hydrating as they’re packed with aloe vera. This basically finishes of the perfect winter / summer transition outfit. You can bare your legs whilst simultaneously preparing them for real nudity in the summer. Awesome.
