A Lady Of Tweed

Those of you with an inner Homes … a detective that be, may be able to conclude from reading ones blog, that I’m most enjoying ye old snow. There’s just something about the snow that effects photos in the most amazing way, makes them so bright and whimsical, I may need to purchase a snow machine for when this antarctic weather passes. Anyway, those of you who come to my blog for fashion & not a lesson in the art of Sherlock Holmes, may also appreciate the new dress.

I certainly have been appreciating it anyway. I received this dress last week from the brand MeeMee and absolutely love it. I am a huge fan of tweed anyway and have a few items in my wardrobe featuring a little tweed, but this dress was the real deal. And a peter pan collar too, I mean come on, what more can a girl ask for?

I actually wore this outfit twice this weekend, once for dinner on Saturday night and again on Sunday for brunch in Clifton village. I just can’t get enough of it. I styled it with my Zara jacket & fur stole and little wedges, but for this look the dress did the talking. As you may be able to deduce it wasn’t the most weather appropriate look, but beauty is pain n all that.
I managed to get some photos yesterday morning of my outfit before work, so expect some more snow filled outfit posts to come yet.  I’ve also got something exciting coming up on the blog this week, a super cool giveaway which I’m really excited about. More to come on that.
