I am very excited to say that on Wednesday this week I received my very first beauty box. I had been umming and arring about signing up to a beauty box for ages now, I saw lots of other bloggers talking about their monthly beauty delivery and was starting to get jealous that I wasn’t receiving any exciting post. But I didn’t want to just commit to a monthly payment for the sake of it, so for the last couple of months I’ve been reading lots of bloggers reviews to help decide which box I wanted to sign up to. Glossy Box vs Feel Unique vs Carmine. Whilst I do like makeup I’m not overly fussed about skin care products as I already have a routine which I am happy with, I didn’t want to waste £13 a month on something I was never going to use, so I decided I needed to find a box that focussed on makeup and hair products as this was what I was most keen to try and experiment with. After much debate I decided Glossy Box was more skin care orientated, Feel unique sort of sat in the middle, and Carmine seemed to prioritise the latest beauty & hair treats. As a result it won my vote, and having received my first box this week, I am super happy I chose this one.
This is the December issue of Carmine, I am late to review this box as having seen other bloggers boxes I decided I loved all the products featured and wanted to gift myself this box. I’ve also signed up for the monthly delivery so expect Januarys box to be delivered in the next week or so. I’ve featured below all the gorgeous products I received, the box didn’t just offer the traditional 5 beauty treats, It also had a special voucher for a Benito Brow Bar free eye brow threading session too. Fab news :)
. JAPONESQUE: Smudger Brush .
. MY FACE COSMETICS: BlingTone .
. KMS CALIFORNIA: Freeshape Quick Blow Dry .
. WELEDA: Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash . . INSTITUTE ESTHERDERM: Time Technology Cream .I am seriously excited to try all these products. The shower gel is a fab staple and I am always up for trying a new wash product especially ones like this with fab flavours. The makeup brush is perfect for my use, the smudger brush is great for the smokey eye look which is how I tend to do my make up each day. I am also in desperate need of investing in some new makeup brushes so this really helps. As for the eyeshadow, what a gorgeous sparkle, I think it’ll go well just at the corners of each eye just to brighten up my eyes. Finally the blow dry syrum, could this be any more perfect given my latest resolution to start blow drying my hair more (I discovered it transforms my look)? I’m really pleased with all the products I received, but just a little nervous for the eyebrow threading, but I will definitely give it a go and report back on the experience.Do you sign up to a beauty box or have you been debating sign up? Which one do you like? I’d love to hear your thoughts and make sure you send me links of your latest reviews.

ive signed up to both glossybox and feel unique.. glossybox lasted one month haha! im not a massive fa of how everyone gets different things.. some people got excellent boxes, and i was seriously disappointed with mine!
i really like feel unique as im quite into skin care and dont need anymore makeup ha! ive cancelled it for whilst i go back to uni, purely just in case i miss it and i have no idea where the post office collection is!
i think if a certain box had stuff that really interested me, id get the one off box, which i think is really good of them to do!
