Je Suis Un Vixon

January 23, 2012

As a girl with a good helping of butt and boobs it’s often a struggle to find underwear sets that a) are available in my size, b) actually look pretty and c) don’t cost the world and more. So a little context, I take a 30E bra and there honestly are not many companies that offer bra’s in this size. I tend to just wear La Senza or Katy Price’s range of undies as they make their collection available for the big busted/small framed ladies of the world.  It often seems to be that it is the women who understand from experience the big bossom complexities that design the most practical yet pretty ranges. They get that we don’t want to look like we’re wearing Bridget Jones style lingerie but do need a little support. So when I was approached by ByCaprice I was really excited to see another brand specialising in lingerie for a much broader audience, including us with large cup sizes but small bone structures. So I was really happy to chose a set from the new collection to try out and I must say I am really really impressed.
. ByCaprice Morticia Bra £26 . ByCaprice Morticia Thong £13 .
So here’s the range I picked complimentarily, it’s called MORTICIA and is a black and ivory coloured bra and thong set. Having ordered the set online, I was a  little worried that I hadn’t had a chance to check the fit & make sure it was nice in real life. But I needn’t have worried as the fit is absolutely perfect, and unbelievably comfortable. It’s also very good quality and has a lot of very fine details which really add to it’s attractiveness. Caprice clearly understands lingerie design having been a model for it for a very long time, but what’s really great is to see a range which is beyond looks and actually really practical and well structured. The other fab thing about her collection is it’s availability online, you can purchase it through Very, Asos, New Look, Next, Fig Leaves and Debenhams, making it even more practical to get hold of. I am actually really impressed by her collection and how well the  underwear is produced & designed and I will most definitely be purchasing a lot more from this range going forward.
Do you ever have trouble finding nice but well fitting underwear sets? Have you tried ByCaprice before?

Hey! We’re the same size and I completely sympathise with you, it’s hell trying to find bras. I’m going to check out the Katy Perry stuff you mentioned :) x

I always have this problem!! I recently started buying my underwear at bravissimo but find that most of theirs are either boring or like something my grandma would wear! Will definitely look into getting a set from bycaprice!

I have the exact same problem and it’s such a nightmare! I really struggle to find underwear that fits nicely and are pretty. I always seem to find that the only ones that fit nicely are pretty plain! :) xx

Totally know what u mean! I take an E cup too and hate that larger cup sized bras are normally very unattractive and mumsy! I may have to treat myself to some from the Caprice range though as this set is very pretty!

I love my ByCaprice bra! I don’t really have trouble being a 32C, only when other 32C women have bought all the bras I want in the sales haha xo
