Sunday, the day of rest. And that it shall be. My boyfriend and I decided to go for a little bike ride into the village today for a coffee and to pick up some food for a Sunday banquet :) I was a little optimistic in my outfit of choice today, the sun was shining and it deceived me into thinking it was going to be warm (oh no, gail forse winds and serious chill). I’ve been saying for ages how much I want to wear my leather jacket, I normally live in it, but because of the chilly climates of late I’ve been opting for my super cosy fur coats instead. But today I decided to get it out and team it with a casual skinny jeans and vintage T. I also decided to give another of my bags a little outing, this tan leather bag was actually a bargain I picked up in a vintage store in Amsterdam this year. Its a gorgeous bag and perfect for a casual look. So voila. The final addition to my Sunday outing look was my gorgeous Pashley Poppy bike, I invested this year in my beautiful bike and I absolutely love it. Whilst strolling around my village, getting my trusty hazelnut latte and filling my bikes basket with lots of amazing ingredients for today’s nibble feast, we also popped into the villages local boutique. If you haven’t been to Kew, its beautiful and full of little local stores & organic food shops & michelin restaurants. Every time I go into this boutique I see a million little things I want, today I decided to take some snaps so you can see all my favourite trinkets too. I absolutely love the leather and fur note books. My favourite is the tan fur with gold detail one in the top left hand corner. I couldn’t quite justify £30 though, especially with the state of my bank balance right now.
So there is my homely Sunday all wrapped up :) What have you all been doing this weekend? Do you have any little local boutiques near you? What do you think of my bike? My intention is to cycle to work as soon as it gets a little warmer, although its 9 1/2 miles so we’ll see if I ever actually make it!
