So I’m back to reality after a fab weekend in Madrid with the girls! I’ve spent a small fortune but managed to pick up some amazing vintage pieces from all the boutiques scattered around the Malasana. We had an amazing time in the city, which by the way is so beautiful (cute lanes, vintage cafes, Romeo and Juliet esque balconies), we ate plenty of tapas and drank copious amounts of vino. Here’s a couple of pics from our first day including some snaps of my outfit (and one of my new Madrid purchases).

I actually picked up the green ring featured in this outfit from a really cool boutique in Espíritu Santo 1 (in Malasana) called TEMPLO DE SUSO and the sunnies I got from the European chain Six. Both were total bargains.

And of course a dedicated post to show off all of my purchases :) I also want to say a huge thank you to Maria from Stellawantstodie blog who gave me the most perfect tips for my weekend away. Including a list of the best vintage stores and cafes!

I went to Madrid a couple of years ago and actually hated it! There was graffiti everywhere and people urinating all over the place – and in 40 degree heat it did not smell good.
I’d definitely go back if they cleaned the place up though because it really is pretty. Makes it even more annoying that people are so disrespectful of it.
