So my first outfit post featuring my new Virgos Lounge Carey blouse (see here) went down a total storm (yay), the top got so many compliments and i’m so glad everyone loved it as much as I do. The brand is uber cool and everything in their collection is totally inspired and so beautifully detailed so it’s no surprise i’m obsessed. Needless to say after the success of my first feature, I’m really excited for the second instalment, this time featuring my new Virgos Lounge navy Blake shorts.
I think these shorts are so cute, and they are the most perfect fit. They’re velvet which usually isn’t my cup of tea at all (I don’t like the funny feel), but actually these shorts have converted me as they’re not overly velvetty at all and look so darned cool. I teamed them with my navy Zara horse print blouse which my sister bought me for Xmas. I think they go so well, although I’ve been a little risque and not put a vest under my top. Hey its 2012, why not.
I’m tres tres tres happy with both my Virgos Lounge items, the brand’s amazing and I can’t wait to see their new collection when it’s released. Everything has such an edge over standard high street designs and I know for sure I’m going to be wearing my blouse and shorts a hell of a lot. They can be styled so many ways and I’m keen to try these shorts with a bralet in the summer as I bet it’d look amazing.
