I had a little bit of a shop this weekend, I’ve already featured my Mango pastel aztec print jumper (see here) and here’s another outfit post featuring my other two amazing finds. My Zara peach pastel blazer & cream peplum top. I must say I am LOVING the whole pastel trend for spring this year so expect to see lot’s of it here and as for the peplum top, you just can’t go wrong.

I’ve been after a cream / white simple top for an age now, something you can team really simply with skinny jeans / skirts etc. The problem is all the cute slik ones that have been everywhere this winter are all see through, so i’ve never really found the perfect one. BUT, I discovered this chic cream peplum blouse in Zara at the weekend and after trying it on I totally fell in love. It’s a thick cotton material so no threat of see through bra exposure (not that I am adverse to that generally, ahem, yesterdays post) and it looks so smart and fab with a blazer (I have a fairly large collection now). These peplum tops have to be the most flattering trend we’ve had in a while too, they go in and out in all the right places and look really classy and chic. I am definitely a fan.

Such a lovely, chic outfit. I love the peplum top; as you say it emphasises the right bits and if, like me, you have a wobbly tummy, it will hide that too. I adore the pastel blazer too. I wish I could get my hands on it!
