Good Karma

March 7, 2012

. Benefit Hervana £23.50 .
There’s been so much hype about the launch of this blusher, I think it feels particularly heightened given the community we operate in, we flock to new launches and ‘it’ products like flies to the light :). I’m not a particularly beauty orientated girl, and as you’ll have realised by now whilst I have a very expensive array of makeup I don’t tend to treat makeup as impulsively and obsessively as I treat my clothes addiction. Anyway, despite all this i’ve always been an absolutely huge fan of benefit, my makeup bag is filled to the brim with half of the Benefit range, along with a mixture of Clinique and Bobby Brown products. I’d say these 3 brands are my favourite, but there is just something about Benefit that I love.

I love Benetint, Boiing, Hoola, Bad Lash, You Rebel and some kinda gorgeous, i’ve always had a good experience with Benefit products and I would say I am a fairly loyal beauty product purchaser. So anyway, given that I am currently favouring the English Rose look I’ve become a little blusher addict of late. It seemed only right to give this new Hervana Blusher a go, so here I am joining the hype, and praising this little pink highlighting gem (it deserves the praise). I was actually really surprised that it’s quite a light shade of pink and makes for a much more subtle look than some other blushers I use, it’s ‘flush’ pink i’d say, giving you a gorgeous healthy looking glow. The fact it’s quite light means you have to layer it on a fiar bit, but also means you end up with a really well blended blush opposed to bright pink blocked cheeks.

On the Benefit front, I also have Porefessional’s being delivered shortly which i’m also really excited to use, whilst it’s not a new launch product by any means, i’ve heard tons of good things about both the products and i’m sure they’ll end up being added to my repeat purchase list along with my other Benefit faves.

I also yesterday was craving a massive home comforts cosy evening as I’d had a banging headache all day, lucky enough for me I came home to my FAVOURITE special dinner: Pancakes. Savoury (salmon and egg with salad) and Sweet (lemon and sugar) to finish off. Perfect.

Have you tried Hervana, how do you like it? What’s your thoughts on Porefessionals, I welcome tips on application and how best to use it as I am new to primer?

I really like the colour but haven’t had a chance to try it out for myself yet. After reading this, I can’t wait to!

Really want to try out hervana it looks so pretty. I am a complete porefessional convert – did a post on it the other week … http://www.georginacallen.co.uk/2012/03/benefit-porefessional.html has the benefit application picture on it which might be useful! Looking forward to reading what you think, it’s definitely the best primer I’ve ever used!

I am very much the same way I don’t rush to the release of new makeup, I actually never really wear much. But a new pair of shoes, that’s something completely different lol.

This is such a pretty colour! I don’t spend lots of money on makeup but since watching youtube beauty videos I have been more keen to buy new ‘it’ products!
