Game Changer

There is absolutely no denying it, if I had to pick a favourite brand right now, hands down it would have to be Virgos Lounge. I first wrote about the brand in early January (here) when I first discovered the delights of their intricate, pretty designs, then again in March when I was sent two gorgeous items from their Carnival Collection (Blake shorts & Carey Blouse). This is round 3 … and a massive tribute to their stunning new collection.

The thing I love most about the brand is how much detail and love goes into every piece of their collection, the stunning sequin detail on every item is a girls best friend, pretty, sparkly and so utterly feminine. This brand has me down to an absolute T. Their new collection only reaffirms this – think sequin floral print, gorgeous gold sequin detailed blouses and dresses, pastel colours and pretty asymmetrical dresses. Nothing is ‘standard’ and every piece of the range is standalone in its own right.
The amazing team there contacted me recently to tell me the exciting news about the new collection and some imminent exciting partnerships & launches (hello Topshop boutique). I picked my top 5 things from their new collection, which was the Moss Blouse (as featured in todays post), the Kandee Shorts, Lolly Skirt, Daffy Jacket & the Poppy Skirt and was sooooo delighted to come home on my birthday to a gorgeously wrapped parcel with TWO of the amazing pieces from my faves. I am one lucky girl right :D, such a fab birthday treat :)
Also I wanted to share this picture with you as in my outfit post above you can’t see the amazing scalloped detail on the bottom of the blouse. How pretty is it? I loved the blouse tucked into my high wasted boyfriend shorts, but there’s no denying that this top really deserves to be out in full to show off it’s true beauty. I wore it with skinny jeans for my Birthday dinner with the girls and it looked awesome :)
So last night I also finally got to open all my birthday presents from Jase and my family. AND. OH. MY. GOSH. I was spoilt rotten. Here’s a couple of snaps of my lovely lovely presents. I got an amazing photography set from my Mum&Dad including a proper pro tripod and wireless remote (up to 100m and totally wireless = amazing). As well as some fab bits and bobs like gorgeous Urban Outfitters undies, a Barcelona Guide book. My lovely sisters bought me the Real Techniques Stippling Brush & lush Gold ring, as well as an AMAZING Sugarhill boutique dress (they got it SOOO right). Jase bought me a seriously cute Links of London charm for my bracelet and some lovely flowers, chocolates, and a cute notepad (I love stationary). I also got a Treseme hairdryer from my Nan and lot’s of pennies (i’ll be putting this towards my Aspinal Bag – BOOM).
