There’s nothing like a bit of Sunday slouching, being wrapped up in cosy garments and stuffing your face with yummy treats. But what with this lousy rain and wind I wanted to make my slouchy Sunday a little up beat and create myself a little sunshine of my own. Cue the brightest outfit you’ll ever see … this just oozes serotonin. Who needs sun and choccie when you have bright orange pants and a shining yellow knit.
. OMG Fashion Orange Jeans . Sisters Knit (Urban Outfitters I think) .H&M Cream Sandals .
. Dainty Roses Ring (C/O) . Standard Everday Jewelerry .
So here it is, my faux sunshine outfit, and I must say it works, the bright colours certainly perk up your mood and make you feel like it could almost be summer. I’ve had these orange skinnies for a while and love how vibrant they are, they’re a great tight fit which makes them perfect to wear with a nice loose knit. This is actually my sisters jumper which I cheekily borrowed. It’s genuinely really hard finding a top to go with orange jeans … I learnt a lot styling this outfit (I am usually shocking at colour coordination).
I have a great line up of outfits to share with you this week (even If I do say so myself), I’ve been wearing all my new Zara treats so can’t wait to show you how I styled them. I’ve also got a cool little style challenge post coming up and I’ll certainly be featuring my new AA disco pants which arrived yesterday at some point.
This week is going to be uber busy with work, the Branson party Thursday and IOW this weekend so I’ll have to let my organisational skills go wild. Oh how I love to plan.
What do you think of my uber bright look? If anyone has any ‘styling orange’ tips feel free to through them my way.

LOVE this outfit!! I always try to wear really bright clothes on rainy days as I find it really does effect my mood. The same with winter time I try to find really bright knits and stuff. I sometimes go for bright on bright like you have or sometimes I’ll wear bright jeans with white top or light jeans and a neon top. or just neon on neon on neon haha.

Pairing orange and yellow was an inspired choice! I am not that ballsy – whenever bright colors make an appearance on me they are always tempered by navy or some other shade of dark blue. I wish I could pull off the bright look.

It might sound terrifying but I absolutely love Orange and Turquoise together. Maybe a turquoise peplum top and really minimal accessories :)
Lovely outfit post!
Also, it worries me that as soon as you mentioned Serotonin I started going through the biological mechanisms in my head :’) Totally off point and nerdy as hell, but hey ho!!
Look forward to seeing how you style these jeans next:)
