To me Sunday and the weekend is all about chilling out, styling down and massively relaxing. Throughout the week at work I like to dress up, and wear my smarter more glam clothes, so when it comes to the weekend, I just want skinnies and a jumper. Super comfy and really casual. So here is what I wore on Sunday when Jase and I went shopping in Bristol and popped out for a spot of Sunday brunch.
When I bought these Zara jeans a little while ago, I kicked myself for buying ANOTHER pair of jeans (I have so many in pretty much every colour of the rainbow), anyway in hindsight these were a brilliant purchase. They are so comfy, and the perfect fit, that I’ve ended up practically living in them. Because of the fit they’re smart enough for work, but of course you can massively style them down when you want to also. This weekend I decided to wear them with a really loose blouse and some sandals, mega comfy and also suitable for the glimpse of sunshine we had too.

I’ve seen a few jean reviews recently, and I thought i’d add my two pence worth. I love Topshop Leigh jeans as they fit really nicely and are fairly thin so makes them quite comfy. From experience they do fade and mine have even ripped from extreme wear. But I think they’re worth the money. My second go to jeans are these Zara ones with the zips at the bottom. Possibly my favourite fitting pair and they have them in every possible colour you could imagine making them even more appealing ;) I’ve massively gone off Topshop Jamie jeans as they’ve changed the cut which I don’t like, I also find the baxters a little unpredictable as I have 2 in the same size that fit completely differently. Other than Topshop and Zara I don’t really purchase high street jeans as I never find the quality or fit to my taste.
Tonight I’m having dinner with my dad, we’re debating cooking a feast versus going out for a meal at the moment. But either way it’ll be full of yummy food and a nice bottle of red wine. I’m also planning on finally taking some pictures for my Laurens Way tan review as part of a pamper post I’m hoping to post tomorrow (time permitting). I also have LOADS of new deliveries of lovely clothes which I need to get wearing and snapping in the upcoming week too.
What’s your go to weekend look? What do you think of the casual skinny jeans styling?

I absolutely love Zara jeans. They’re the comfiest and best fitting ones I own, plus they’re cheaper than Topshop jeans, which is always a plus x

Those jeans are lovely, look like the perfect fit :-) I’m the same at weekends, only I become extra casual as student life during the week doesn’t require much glamming up!

I absolutely love the pairing of the jeans and the long top! Such a perfect casual and relaxed outfit, but still a little bit special too! I agree, Topshop Leighs are the way to go – so comfy and cool, but I might be tempted to try out the Zara version, especially if they’re a little cheaper – sometimes I think the Leighs are a bit extortionate!

You look lovely in this casual ensemble, I like to dress down at the weekend too as I spend most of the week in shift dresses and heels. I’m embarrassed to admit that my skinny jeans are from Tesco, bought a couple of pairs because they fit so nicely! X
