So given I’m clearly on a roll with wearing outrageous trousers, I thought today I’d share my second outfit featuring my American Apparel disco pants. The first look I featured was dressed up for an evening event (here), however today’s look is more just a standard day wear outfit, and this is actually what I wore on Saturday for a lunch date with Jase in Bristol.
. AA Disco Pants . Topshop Neon Jumper . Dune Wedges . Mulberry Holly .
As I mentioned in my previous AA post, these pants were a little off the cuff spontaneous purchase, but actually having worn them a couple of times now, I really am pleased I bought them. I suppose the main thing for me to overcome about wearing these as a day outfit was the shiny look of them, I was worried i’d get some funny looks. But actually they’re quite subtle if you style them down, although i’m not sure my neon jumper did anything to help me be subtle ;)
What I really like about these disco pants is the ability to really easily dress them up or down. I’m yet to wear a cropped top with them to show off the high waist detail, but after receiving a new Lavish Alice print bra let I think that’ll be my next outfit to try. The only style I’m yet to work out if I could pull off is the ‘office look’, I can’t gauge whether these could be styled suitably enough for the office. or are they a little too dare-ish?
What do you think of this styled down look, do you prefer the more casual or dressy styling of these pants so far?

This is lovely but I prefer the dressier styling so far, I bet they’ll look gorgeous with a crop top. Maybe with the right smart blouse and blazer combo they’ll work for the office? Worth a go! :-)

i love this jumper with the disco pants. i was wondering exactly the same thing about whether they would be suitable work attire. im thinking of attempting it on dress down friday to reduce the risk!

Gorgeous outfit, I love the casual styling as it makes it much more practical for frequent use. I have the AA Riding Pants and I love dressing them up its just a casual look will get more use. x
