Sometimes in life, there are moments, moments of extreme adrenaline and excitement, where a person can find themselves acting a little out of control or ‘in the moment’, and in these times of great chemical imbalance, often uncharacteristic things can happen. When it comes to shopping, this can cause particularly spectacular results.
Welcome my brand new Zara stud boots, a pair of shoes that have been on my radar ever since they graced the UK in a bold, raging red colour. Now I wasn’t quite ready to brave red boots, despite an undying love for the shoe. So you can imagine my upmost pleasure when I saw this week, that these precious beauties had been released in black.
It took me approximately 0.45 seconds to click ‘add to bag’ and swiftly to ‘check out’. The excitement took over, there was no rationalising, no sense checking, just pure magical frivolity in a moment of absolute lack of self control.
It felt wonderful.
As is always the case with these sorts of moments, it’s knowing when to stop. Sadly I’ve not quite mastered this yet. So introducing, my continued spending efforts.I swiftly added the Zara lace skirt to my basket, after lusting after this all summer, seeing it in the sale for £15.99 was the final straw. It would have just been rude not to.
Now the rest of my shopping is far more responsible, as the winner of the style compare pleats challenge (whoop) I won £100 to shop with across all the brands they feature on their site (basically any brand you could dream of). As I don’t really need anything much, I thought i’d go for lots of little things I love, but perhaps wouldn’t have ordinarily forked out for. So above is my shopping list with all the things I’m going to get with my prize funds.
What do you think of my latest purchases and also my prize fund shopping list? What are you lusting after at the moment?
