It’s Thursday, and I’m keeping to my newly established tradition of updating you on ‘life’ on this fine day. What this really means is, i’m going to share with you my favourite instagram pics of the weeks, my best new purchases, tastiest restaurant visits, and most worthwhile new products. Brace yourself for the ride folk, here we go …
Instagram 1: Attire Pour le Jour
. H&M turquoise bracelet, I purchased this beaut for my friend & loved it so much I got me one too .
. Zara Boots … Studs … lush ting. That’s all it needs right? <3 .
. Me, dressed super casual enjoying a nice burger & bloody mary, the perfect hangover cure .
. Using my phone & my lush new phone case, more to come on this .
Instagram 2: Products I love
. I treated myself to this Essie, Cute as A Button nail polish & adore the cute summery shade .
. If you haven’t tried these, you must, my fave lip seals of the moment, they smell so good .
. I’ve used this Bourjois mascara for a while & think its brilliant. I repurchased this at the weekend .
. My fab new case from Iconemesis, I love the unique prints they have to prettify your phone (C/O) .
Instagram 3: Life & Olympics
. Watching the Olympics at HydePark after a VIP evening session with Absolute Radio .
. Pimms: The perfect British summer picnic tipple, this was at a cute picnic with my friend .
. Watching the Olympics in Winchester Catherdral Grounds with sunshine & a lovely friend .
. Living in my converse & frilly socks, rocking the casual chic look (well trying to) .
Instagram 4: Taste Sensation
. Burger & Lobster … my incredible whole lobster, which I totally demolished .
. Ultimate iced hazelnut americano to wake me up in the morning .
. Sumo Sunday at Yo Sushi, the work of three ladies, 26 plates and a £68 bill .
. So good it’s was worth mentioning twice, this lunch also the start of my Mahiki / Athlete adventures .
Instagram 5: Bits N’ Bobs
. Yes, I’m reliving my childhood & totally rocking a henna tattoo. I love it <3 .
. My boy surprised me with this gorgeous photo of us in NYC eating hot dogs (my fave) .
. After a few cocktails at lunch, I attempted the union jack, got there the second time round .
. My beautiful sister and I at Mudeford beach enjoying the sunshine & seaside .
I wanted to pay a little special attention to my new nail polish & my unbelievably well painted nails. This is an absolute miracle for me, when I say I can’t paint my nails, I truly mean it. I spill it, smudge it, end up with lumps and bumps & prints all over my nails when I try and paint them myself. HOWEVER, post purchasing this Essie polish this weekend, i have to say, it’s turned me pro. The moral of this story is, if you buy good nail polish even the most totally inept can use it to perfection.
. Essie: Cute as a button polish, £8 .This polish cost me £8, which I don’t think is half bad at all. The best thing about it is once you’ve applied it, it kind of merges into itself, so even if you apply wonkily, it just smooths itself out to leave the most perfectly smooth coat you could possibly dream of. Seriously, it’s awesome.
