NO ORIGINALITY

I’ve been so busy of late, I feel like I’ve been cruising along on auto pilot dealing with one mission at a time. I have lots of exciting things happening, holidays being planned (although this is causing me serious stress), working crazy hard since my promotion, blogging daily & getting lots of fab opportunities coming my way. It’s a good but busy time in my life, and i’m just about keeping my head above the water. I do have a few bloggy things happening which are really exciting, but I must say it’s very hard juggling everything :) (a lot of people always ask how I manage, who knows haha)

Anyway, on the blog today is a new outfit post, which also happens to be a) a new dress and b) a new necklace. After watching Lily’s latest shopping haul videos and spying this River Island shift dress in among her picks, I knew I had to hunt it down. As you all know by now, I am shift dress obsessed. I have no idea why I’ve fallen for this style so hard, after all as a girl with a waist, hips and boobs, this style is absolutely not what the fashion police would recommend, pencil skirts & figure hugging dresses are more the recommended approach – but hey, screw the rule book. I like this style.

I took these pictures at the weekend, but am actually wearing this exact outfit today. Albeit i’ve swapped the heels for my black suede tassel sandals (which I live in). I’m really glad I picked up these two new items this weekend, worthy investments I say :)
Today is Friday, hoorah, and I’ve actually just got wind of the fact that I am going to Burger & Lobster for a cheeky media lunch again … hell YES. I’ve hyped this place a lot recently and the last time I went for lunch I ended up super boozy & going to Mahiki with all the Olympic athletes. I think today will be a bit more tame, but I’m still excited for some yummy grub and a cheeky cocktail.
