I mentioned that i’m a pretty busy bee at the moment, juggling lots of things & working hard. But finally, I think my rest is coming as my 2 week holiday in Turkey is at the final stages of being booked. At last, it really has been the bane of my life, but now I’m really excited for a lovely time, relaxing in the in the sunshine. In the spirit of holidays and foreign climates I thought i’d share a new outfit I have (with a new pair of summer shorts).
I have been searching high and low for the perfect pair of denim shorts for what feels like years. I have a pretty worn, and rustic pair which I wear 24/7, but after seeing so many amazing shorts dotted around the blogger sphere I’ve been determined to get myself the perfect fitting pair.
I’m always really nervous purchasing things online as you don’t know how they’re going to fit, but after being sent these bad boys by Lavish Alice, I think I’ve finally found a perfect pair. They’re super short, but with tanned legs & living on the beach, I think they’re pretty perfect. I wore them this weekend with a really casual top & my super bright pink necklace from Zara.
. Lavish Alice Denim Shorts (C/O) £22 . H&M Top (old) . Zara Neon Necklace £15.99 .
. Michael Kors Sunglasses C/O Sunglasses Shop £86 .
This will most definitely end up being an outfit I live in whilst on holiday :) That and my bikini … bring on the sunshine. So whilst I am super excited about getting away for 2 weeks, I am really nervous about my wee old blog. Now if you’ve been a reader of my blog for a while, you’ll know that I blog daily, and since 30th October 2011 when I launched this, I’ve not missed a single day (I am a little obsessive).
On holidays & trips away I’ve had over this time period, I’ve always taken my laptop & blogged on holiday or scheduled posts. But I’ve not been away for 2 weeks in one go, and I am a little worried that my hotel in Turkey doesn’t have free wifi (WHYYYYYY?). So now I am faced with a little blogging conundrum. Do I schedule a couple of posts for while i’m away (I definitely couldn’t manage to schedule 14), or do I take my laptop and embrace the wifi charges. I do fear that if I didn’t blog for 2 weeks all my lovely readers would flee & never return – is this a silly fear haha?
So there you go, a ‘live in’ holiday outfit for my 2 weeks away, and my blogging woes … i’d love to hear your thoughts on both & any tips you may have?

Love the shorts! You look amazing in them. As for the blogging issue, noone will mind if you don’t blog every day while on holiday, everyone deserves a break and everyone should understand. In the end, it’s up to you what you do but rest assured that the majority of your readers will not flee. Have an amazing holiday!! xx
PS: I want your hair x

I think that you should schedule some posts whilst you’re away and leave the laptop at home and enjoy your time off. Otherwise it’s like you’re not too far away from the stresses of back home. And no way will all of your readers leave and never return – everyone deserves a break!
I love the shorts, you look amazinG! x

shorts are lovely, you’ve taken some lush shots heree :) have a fantastic holiday. & I agree with the comment above, work super hard to schedule posts daily and that way your readers still get to read your content daily and nothing has change but- you get time to relax and have a break from everything!! xx

or maybe schedule posts for half the time and get 7 people to guest and have one day of you, one day of a guest poster- if you’re worried but honestly so many bloggers take time out I don’t think it would matter if you didnt! x

I think maybe schedule some posts then take your laptop with you as well. That way if you find yourself really busy and wrapped up in holiday stuff you can just leave your laptop in the hotel and go and enjoy yourself, but if you have free time and you feel like blogging you can. The scheduled posts would take the pressure off though if you just want to enjoy yourself :)

Still loving the gorgeous necklace, you look so so good in those shorts too! I’d say take the time to relax on holiday, just schedule a couple of posts for the 2 weeks – I highly doubt you’ll lose any readers, and if you do then they weren’t worth having! xxx
