Oh dear lord, as if I don’t already own enough ankle boots. Seriously. I estimate that I own probably 10 ankle boots alone, that’s excluding standard boots, heeled boots, or any other type of boots one girl can get her hands on. But, my issue is this, I’m so frivolous and inpatient thatIi practically buy any shoe I really love (that I can afford) the moment I find them and fall in love. There’s no ‘time away to think about my investment’ or research to compare similar offerings, oh no, I just snap em up. I’m not saying this is bad, I love all my shoes I’ve purchased, but it does make me a little jealous when I see new shoes of a similar caliber hit the high street … that’d be very hard to justify purchasing as I “already have some similar” & I “only just bought that other pair”.
Now in the last couple of months alone I’ve bought 2 pair of ankle boots, one of which was my black leather studded ankle boots, the second being my tan leather Topshop acton boots. Both of these I love and am fully devoted to (albeit I’ve not worn them that much as I’ve been living in sandals) … but I still can’t help but fall in love with other similar boots on the high street.
Topshop is proving to be the bane of my life (along side Zara that is) … their entire fall shoe collection is literally amazing. Whilst these shoes are £70, which I personally think is a great deal, they also have the cutest range of ankle boots for £40 which are also just amazing (you may have seen these in my September wish list post). Oh what’s a girl to do eh, so many shoes and so little time to wear them all.
What do you think of these ankle boots? How many shoes do you think is justifiable … are you as frivolous as me ( e.g. have absolutely no self control)?

I’ve bought 5 pairs of ankle boots in the last two months alone, and the worrying thing is I know i’ll fall in love with a few more pairs yet!

I love ankle boots they’re my faovurite kind of ‘boot’. Any colour although brown is my favourite. I’ve got about 5 pairs I think! Way too many :)

Howdy cowgirl! These boots are totally awesome. I don’t have that many shoes/boots but that’s mostly because I have no space! I suppose I have bought 4 pairs of Dr Martens in the past 2 weeks…Whoops! ;)

I adore ankle boots too. I only own two pairs at present: a tan western-style pair and a black studded pair, but I would certainly own more if money were no object!
