Yesterday I spent the day with my little sister, shopping and grabbing a bit of sushi for lunch. I went for a risque outfit (for me at least) and decided to wear my very mini Lavish Alice denim hot pants with my ‘live in’ Zara knit jumper. AND my new Brogues which I also featured in yesterday’s outfit but I’ve been living in ever since I got them.
I always admire people who rock the hot pant denim shorts with a really casual loose knit or tee … I’m always a little afraid to try it myself as I’m not a lean bean and I always feel I may look a bit ‘stuffed’ into it haha. But nevertheless I braved it yesterday and didn’t think it looked too bad?

I picked up a couple more items yesterday whilst shopping, a lovely fur stole from H&M (albeit I’ve just seen a lush one in the asos sale which I semi prefer, damn it) and some cute knee high socks & jodhpur style leggings from primark (these were very impromptu).
This week is another busy one for me work wise, and i’m hoping to make it a little healthier than last week too (my jeans are starting to get a bit too tight, eek).

I think the shorts are sooooo perfect…….perfect jumper/top too …… I grew up in ballet (I’m a guy) and I always wore big sweaters with tights under. I’m traveling in Europe this fall, and I adore the style of tights with cut off denim shorts, and leather shorts, and cute high waisted shorts. want these shorts as well.My friends in Europe know I’m bold and brash and have encouraged me to don cute tights on my legs and wear that look (tights and shorts….I’ve even begun to wear thin sheer tights as well…
