The Original Re Mix

It’s not often I get the chance to get glam’ed up anymore, if I go out in the week I’ll head straight from work (I’ll always make a little outfit or makeup tweak to transition, but never a full new outfit), I very rarely ‘party’ at the weekends, unless its a dinner and drinks / cocktail bar session, and sometimes I do miss getting totally dolled up & putting on a good old party frock.

When I received this incredible Lavish Alice dress, I could not wait to get it on. I miss wearing pretty dresses & so was determined to style this for a day to day look so I could get LOT’s and LOT’s of wear out of it.

I decided that nothing would go better than my Zara stud ankle boots. The dress and shoe combo is pretty much a duo made in heaven. As the dress is body con, and super glam, I thought adding a blazer would both smarten the look and also dress down the dress. Making the outfit much more suitable for a dinner date (opposed to clubbing).

I loved the look, so much so, that I also dressed it up for a party look too (e.g. ditching the blazer and getting some killer heels on), I’ll show you this outfit asap but for today, I wanted to share the casual one :)

Last night my netball match got cancelled (which was a blessing in disguise) and I also had a lovely delivery from Fashion In Home (massive excitement) and so I spent the evening faffing around in my bedroom setting up my new beauty table (eeee).
