Outfit

Trick Or Treat?

November 1, 2012

I know it’s a tad late, seeing as Halloween has now been and gone, but to hell with it, i’m going to carry on the celebrations a little longer. Today’s outfit post isn’t that spooky but it does have a Halloween & Autumn vibe to it.

This Lavish Alice jumper is not only a new AW fave of mine, but it also fits perfectly into this Halloween time  of year. The burgundy sweater has tons of little gold skulls sewn onto it, giving the jumper a bit of a spooky twist.
I’m a big fan of burgundy at the best of times, but the detailing on this jumper definitely takes it to another level. It’s suitably on trend with all the studs / gold embellishment that is taking over our high street at the moment too.

. Lavish Alice Skull Jumper £20 (C/O) . AA Disco Pants . Runway Shoes £35 (C/O) . Denim Shirt .

This is actually what I wore at the weekend, I was having a bit of a cosy day, and it was super freezing back at home so I was looking for a warm but still respectable look. I styled it with my AA disco pants, which I’m happy to say I have been wearing increasingly since my mum mended my zip for me. I decided to add a denim shirt underneath the jumper, as I do love a good collar, and also it added another layer of warmth.
The final addition & the finishing touch to the look was my new Runway ankle boots. I’m loving gold studs – you may have guessed? And despite the fact I already have 3 pairs of studded ankle boots, I couldn’t resist these bad boys. They’re actually a very close replica of the Topshop ones that are on sale right now, but fortunately about 1/3 of the price. Bargain find indeed. These are really comfy & I’ve worn them quite a lot with my jeans too :)
Tonight I’m heading to the WIWT wax off event and i’m super excited to see the girls, and have some fun Halloween waxy fun. I need a nice girly night as today has been a total crazy one so far.
What do you think of this outfit & my new burgundy skull top? How would you style the jumper?

Love the burgundy. I like how you’ve styled it really simply, rather than gothing it up with the skulls. It makes the skulls an unusual detail, rather than the main focus. I like!

The jumper is gorgeous and your boots are lovely too. Have fun at the event tonight :) I’d style the jumper with a leather skirt and almost opaque tights I think!

That sweater is so cute! I’d probably pear it with a faux leather skirt, tights and Dr Martens. <3
