Oh here I am, rocking another shift dress, shocker. This awesome Indian inspired dress caught my eye whilst browsing on Sheinside, I absolutely love the tribal vibe it has and the feather detailing is pretty original I think. A shift dress is so simple, so adding a cool print like this to it, just gives it a little edge.
Naturally I went with tan leather and gold accessories, trying to play on the Indians theme, I really should have added a head piece to really pull off the indigenous look (feathery of course).
These pictures were also taken after my hair colour on Saturday, so my roots are no more, hooray!! The colour isn’t quite as creamy blonde as I usually like, but it’ll do. I bought some Moroccan oil to try too, my poor bleached hair needs a little TLC and i’ve heard amazing things about this product.
When I tried on this dress it totally lifted my mood, maybe some spiritual native american vibes coming through or something. But I must say the feeling was welcomed. I, as well as what seems like a lot of others at the moment, appear to be feeling down. I’m not sure whether it’s triggered from the awful UK weather, or if it’s my Gluten intolerance & IBS playing up, wishing my boyfriend and I could finally be in the same place, or just the stresses of work and life but whatever the reason it sucks.
I did come home to a few Glamorous deliveries last night though which put a big smile on my face. I’m wearing one of them today, so I’m really hoping the rain stays away so that I can get some outfit pictures tonight after work :) I’m already looking forward to the weekend, Jase is in Barcelona for this birthday on the 26th so we’re going to celebrate this weekend instead, a trip to see Batman and a nice lunch out :)
What do you think of my native american themed dress? Do you like the print?
