Just A Roundabout Way Of Saying Yes

It’s a bit late in posting, but given that the weather is on a downward spiral here in the UK I thought it ‘s probably a good time to share it. It’s really frustrating when it’s super cold but you still want to wear something pretty and dressy, but this outfit was a good compromise. Thick tights teamed with my favourite sequin skirt, and a chic chiffon blouse. Obviously worn with a big fat furry coat on top to keep me warm.

I’ve worn this skirt with many many outfits since I got it back before Christmas, it works perfectly for a dressy evening outfit or with a big cosy jumper and ankle boots for a much for casual weekend look. Sequins are one of those textiles that I always want to wear but it’s slightly more tricky to get it right. This skirt has been an ace addition to my wardrobe as it’s sequins to the max, but also much easier to style than other sequin garments (like sequin trousers which I literally could not pull off).
