You know sometimes you imagine an outfit, and in your head it looks ace, but then in reality when you try and pull it off, it’s not quite what you imagined. Well this is one of those … I always admire girls in high waist jeans with a casual tee, and so I tried to channel the look myself. Although not very successfully I should add.
It’s funny how sometimes a style just doesn’t suit you. Despite having an hourglass shape the high waist jeans look is clearly not for me. High waist skirts are a big tick, but for whatever reason high waist jeans are a no go for me. Next time i’ll be opting for a big cosy jumper to style with these duck egg jeans :) – much more my style.

I debated not sharing this post, after all I’m not happy with the look (and actually after seeing the pics I did add a big jumper over the top), but I thought it’s not all about the perfect look, sometimes its good to share the ‘failed looks’ too. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another, and there’s no point beating ourselves up about it :)
