Take 10 – Sea Green Tweed

I chose the pastel pink shade for the tshirt, as I thought it was a little different to the usual white polo top, and also would look very pretty styled with lace shorts or cute pencil skirts in the summer too. I’d actually love to pair this with my new Sugarhill Boutique shorts too … next time.

For this look I decided to wear my H&M sea green tweed skirt. This is something I picked up last year in the summer, and absolutely fell in love with. I’ve not really had much opportunity to wear it as it’s quite fitted and creates quite a classic outfit, but I loved it styled down slightly with this Lacoste top and some simple black tights. The colours really compliment each other and I love how the t-shirt gives the skirt a slightly softer more comfy feel. When I took these piccies (obviously another pre holiday outfit) i’d also just had my hair done, and I think the bright bleach blonde actually works well against the pastel & seaside shades of the rest of the outfit.
