A Little Grey Marl

Ahoy there, today’s post is another outfit from a pre holiday time, back when I was translucent. This outfit is something I wore the week before I went away on holiday, it’s a really cosy outfit as the grey marl midi dress is so super comfy and my knitted cardy is the cosiest cardy ever, and makes a great weekend outfit (i’ve also worn it to work but added tights and some wedges). 

I have grown a bit of love for the midi length dress recently, it’s not necessarily the most flattering thing on me, but I do love how effortless they appear when styled. I’ve seen some fab styling of them, from converse and a leather jacket to heels and a cute clutch. They’re quite versatile, which if you’ve read my blog for a while, you’ll realise I am a big fan of.

Last night I went to the Missguided event to view their new SS13 collection and hang out with some of my favourite blogging ladies (Shope, Shore, Lucy, Becca & Laura) – these guys are legends. I’m planning to do a separate post on the event itself as I took lots of pics which I want to share, but wanted to mention a fab red midi dress which I was gifted at the event. It’s a really amazing bold red colour, with a loose, thin t-shirty feel. I had the model on hand style it up with a leather jacket and it looked ace, so I can’t wait to wear it myself. The red will be a nice bold colour for spring too.
