YEEHHAAA to Spring. I think it’s safe to say it has finally arrived, and It better be staying that’s for sure. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this bank holiday weekend and it’s given me a chance to finally wear some of my more summer suitable clothing, including this maxi dress which I got for my birthday.
This dress is a little number I got for my birthday from my family, I had put it on my wish list after seeing it on the Topshop website and thinking how perfect it’d be for summer. I envisaged a real effortless kind of look, great for summer holidays too. But I wanted to get wear of it in the UK too, so decided to tan it up with lots of tan leather accessories.

As the dress is a simple nude garment, I think it’s all in the accessories to make the look. I decided to add my Daniel Footwear sandals (Unforgettable) which go absolutely perfectly.As the dress is a slit dress, you really get to show off your footwear. I also added my tan leather belt (Topshop) as the dress is quite shapeless, and the belt pulled it in a little. Finally I added some gold accessories, my H&M chain necklace and my new Urban Outfitters triangle necklace – another present. Keeping to the nudey tones, I also wore my cream leather jacket to finish it off. Bag wise, my tan mulberry satchel goes perfectly, but sadly I didn’t have it with me.
I’m also wearing my new special rings in this outfit from the jewellery shop So Charming. They are designed by Robindra Unsworth and are part of the stacking ring collection. I’ve worn them loads recently (you may have noticed them in my outfits or my instagram), but will be showing them off properly in an outfit post soon.

i love the loose fit of this dress, it’s not as tight as mist if the maxi’s at the moment. and i love how you’ve paired it with that gorgeous leather jacket :)
