I’ve not done a wish list post in a really long time, I used to do them quite frequently when I first started blogging, mainly as I was always lusting after one thing or another and always shopping. Over the last 8 months I’ve really tried to cut back on my shopping though (I should clarify this does not mean cut out, purely cull back), mainly as I bought a Beetle and so am still paying this off plus saving for my own little abode too. With age comes responsibility n’ all that. But let’s face the facts, I’m still a girl, a clothes / shoes / bag obsessed frivolous one at that and as such I spend many hours lusting after new clothes (despite the fact my entire room is basically 14 ft square full of clothes).

As such, todays post is a little round up of the 4 items i’m currently planning on purchasing. There’s no real theme here, there never tends to be with my clothes, I don’t tend to consciously choose to buy new trends, more invest in things I like and ‘fall in love with’. I actually had a conversation with my mum this weekend about this topic, trying to discover quite why I love clothes so much and obsess over pretty garments and outfits. We decided it was my mum’s fault (hehe), as when I was little she used to buy and make me pretty dresses and outfits and always dress me up. I’ll take it as an excuse for my adult hood compulsive shopping and clothes hoarding. My mum is also a dress maker and my sister studying textiles, so I like to think fashion, clothes, dresses and style are in my genes and my shopping and blogging are my way of channeling my passion for this.

Anyway back to the garments above, there’s no real reason why I love the above items specifically, I just do.  I hope soon to be showing them off in outfit posts … but first up. SHOPPING.
