Aside from my day at work, todays a little special as I have an exciting blogging event I’m attending in the evening after work. The lovely team at Jarlo have invited me and a couple of other bloggers (which I am yet to know who) to a special dinner to celebrate our upcoming blog collaboration. I’m really looking forward to the event and excited to meet the other bloggers who will be taking part in our styling project.

The project we’re working on is something Jarlo have already done with some awesome US bloggers, and they’re now bringing the idea to the UK and giving a few of us bloggers each a selection of Jarlo dresses from the new collection to style in our own way. We each get 4 of the same dresses, so it’ll be a really nice way to show how different people style the same items to suit they’re own unique look.

As a little thank you for taking part in the collaboration I was allowed to pick another dress myself, as a little gift. Now I’d been eyeing this here dress up for months on ASOS, and jumped at the chance to pick this as my thank you present. I was so excited to receive this little number and am super happy with it in the flesh. It’s actually far more glamorous then I had thought it’d be (I’d assumed a casual maxi), but I love it for it. It’s the perfect summer garden party dress and is such a pretty design and colour palette. I can’t wait for some more sunshine so I can get wearing this dress some more.
