TAKING A MOMENT OUT

I’ve been struggling a little lately with juggling my job and my blog, with work being so busy it’s been really difficult to get time to keep up my daily posts and outfit pictures. Leaving the house at 730am and getting home at 830 / 930pm doesn’t leave much time for picture taking. On top of that i’ve also had the struggle of my tripod, remote AND NOW macro lens all breaking – seriously not having much luck. I’ve managed to replace my tripod and remote, I’ve bought myself a £70 Manfrotto tripod which will hopefully last me forever. but I now have the issue of a broken £100 lens, and have been told it’s probably cheaper just to replace it. DOH. I should also add i realised it had broken (it can’t focus) after taking 2 sets of (now redundant) outfit pics. Double bummer. Anyway … it’s kind of giving me an excuse to upgrade to the F1.4 Lens (although i’m still getting my head around the £320 price).

Anyway, as i’ve been a little busy, todays post is just a short one (i hope you can forgive me), but I thought i’d take the time out to give a little love to my new boots, which I have actually worn every day bar ONE since I bought them. Dedication right.  These boots are a little office number I treated myself to the other weekend after admiring the whole buckle heeled boots look for a while. I already have a few ankle boots but really loved how these were heeled and a really nice hight on your ankle – making them suitable to wear with summer dresses too (as I did here).
