Sticking on the glossy new shoe theme, todays outfit post features another pair of beautiful new toe cosies, in the form of these orange leather loafers from Boden. PHWOAR. I’ve been excited to share this outfit post with you all for some time now … not only because it features my new summer shoes, but also because it features a naughty little purchase I made – my 2ndDay top.

The top is a little something I frivolously treated myself to a few weekends back. It was rather naughty  of me as it’s a little expensive (£65) but was a top I instantly loved and is from a fab brand called 2nd Day. It’s great quality and a really nice fit. I wear my black Zara top which is a similar style ALL the time and so I knew if I bought this i’d get some good wear out of it. I bought this from a little shop in Clifton village called Maze, it stocks some fab brands and whenever Jase and I visit the village I ended up making a wish list of beautiful clothes that my poor purse just can’t afford.

The shoes are just so cute and a perfect summer addition to my shoe collection, the colour is so bold, bright and unique it makes me love them all the more. I did consider opting for a more neutral colour as Boden do these Penny loafers in every colour you can imagine, but the orange just tugged at my heart that little more than the others (gold and mint were close 2nd and 3rd). The loafers look fab with a simple pair of jeans like I wore here, but equally would look fab with a cute summer smock dress. I’ll be getting lots of use of these this summer (whenever it actually arrives?) so I need to get wearing them in – they’re real leather and super quality so there quite structured right now.
