As I mentioned in yesterdays blog post, my camera lens has broken, and belows fuzz of photos are a result of a no longer functioning F1.8 lens. Sob Sob Sob. I have to say these are 10 x better than the other outfit I had taken pics of. I’m not debating upgrading to the F1.4 lens given it’d cost more to fix my F1.8 than mend it.

I’ve been admiring these leopard silk trousers for months and months now, ever since Zara brought them out back in 2012. I’ve seen many bloggers don them and always thought they looked so chic and sophisticated. I wasn’t sure how they’d look on me, but after finding them on the Chicnova website (I think they stock from the same place as Zara as they even have the same tag), I knew it was time to take the leap and buy them – and  I couldn’t be more happy with them.

They only got delivered on Thursday, but when I got home from work I swapped my work clothes for them immediately and ended up spending they day slouching around in them – they’re so so comfy and fit like a dream. This is when I nipped out to take some pics, and shortly after realised my dear old lens had packed it in.

For this outfit I opted for a casual evening out styling with my loose (favourite) zara tee and my Marni heels, which made the trousers slightly more dressy. I am actually going to wear this today too, but swap for sandals and a leather jacket for a more casual day time look.
