#WOWJARLO; The Gillian Series

Well it’s my final post from the #WOWjarlo series today … and finishing on a high with this pop culture Gillian dress. Definitely not leaving the best until last i’d say.

For our third and final dress in the collaboration we all got to pick either the Gillian dress (styled here) or the McKenzie, I opted for the Gillian as I loved the 60’s swinger style cut and the cute peter pan collar. It’s a super cute party style dress and would look fab at a summer garden do.

I styled the dress with my black Marni heels and the combination went together like a dream. The Marni heel itself is quite a retro design and so matched the dresses vintage feel perfectly. I added my leather jacket to the look to finish it off, I quite liked how the leather jacket gave it a slightly more casual, edgy look. Jewelery wise I went a bit bold and colourful, adding my stacking rings and beaded and chunky gold bracelets. The dress has lots of colourful spots and so accessorizing can be more playful to match the dress.

I can’t wait to see which dresses the other bloggers have chosen and styled this week. It’d be nice to do a big wrap up post next week with all the dresses worn by all the girls :)
