. FLOWERS .
As I eluded to in yesterdays post, this weekend I spent the day seeing friends and along with lots of other fun things, we popped along to Columbia Road market yesterday where we all filled our arms with beautiful fresh flowers at absolute bargain rates. Columbia Road Flower Market (hosted on a Sunday) is a beautiful floral affair with every flower you could dream of being sold by London’s finest cockney market stall holders at irresistible prices. I picked up 3 bunches of flowers for £9 as the market was closing and have since decorated my house, and bought a little bit of sunshine inside.
Flowers add a little bit of sunshine and life to all rooms of the house, and I think I managed to pick the perfect selection to suit my new home and add a little sparkle to every room …
. KITCHEN .
. BEDROOM .
. LOUNGE .
Flowers are usually so expensive and so tend to be saved for special occasions or real treats, but the best thing about Columbia Road is that everything is such a good price, you can’t help but fill your arms and decorate your house with lavish bouquets. If I lived a little closer i’d stop by every Sunday to stock up and keep my home bursting with flowers and beautiful smells.
I should register the fact that i’ve started to do a few more ‘home decor’ posts lately, since moving into my new house I’ve really enjoyed blogging about my new decor or home items and the little things in my life which make me happy. I’m by no means moving away from daily style, but I quite like the blend of the two. I really hope you do too?
What do you think of my three picks? Are you a fan of flowers in the home? Are you enjoying my lifestyle posts?

I love flowers at home, unfortunately so does my cat so I find petals scattered across the floor. I’m slowly learning which types she’s not so interested in.
My brother goes to Columbia Road flower market quite often. He’s a fan of big lilies and they do a great deal (just before closing, of course). At 250 miles, it’s a little far for me to go! x
