I’m obsessed with denim right now, denim shorts, denim shift dresses, dungaree’s, dungaree dresses, body cons … you name it, I want it. Inspired by my current denim obsession I recently snapped up this awesome denim bodycon dress from warehouse which I fell in love with immediately.

Despite not often wearing that many bodycon or fitted dresses these days (I do favour a shift of late), I do love a clinched in waist. Even with my shift dresses I often pick items that have a detailed waist line, as I have an hour glass shape I find this style is the most flattering on me.

When I saw this dress on the Warehouse website I immediately fell in love with it, I love the acid wash colouring, the structured design and it looked a pretty good fit and length too. I embarked on my usual ‘hunt’ to find this dress and ended up making a sweaty mid week lunch break trip to Oxford street to try and find it. Warehouse have an amazing denim dress selection and I did toy between this dress or a long sleeve midi length version which was absolutely stunning too. I decided to go with this dress as I thought it was styleable for winter or summer dependent on what I wore with it. 

I will absolutely be wearing this in winter with tights, ankle boots and a hefty knitted cardigan too. For this look though, it was all about lapping up the sunshine and so I styled the dress with my Topshop sandals and some cute simple necklaces for a dinner date. I’m going on holiday at the end of September and I can’t wait to get some more ‘summer’ wear out of this before winter takes over.
