EVOCHA: The Victoria

September 4, 2013

. EVOCHA .

There’s nothing more chic than a well designed LBD. They’re perfect for so many occasions – dinner dates, black tie do’s, the office, work meetings, and even cocktails out with the girls. Really the occasions to wear an LBD are plentiful, and that’s why we should all have them stocked up in our wardrobe at the ready.
Finding an LBD isn’t hard, but finding a smart and well designed one, that not everyone has, is pretty hard. When i was recently introduced to a new brand called Evocha and asked if i’d like to review their stunning Victoria LBD i jumped  at the opportunity. The brand prides themselves on quality design and materials and so I was keen to see how this sophisticated dress would look.
. Evocha Victoria Dress £185 c/o . Marni Heels . Mulberry Clutch .
As Evocha is a new designer brand their sizing is a little off versus the UK high street (comes up very small, but they’re addressing the issue), particularly the likes of Reiss and French Connection where i’m always a size 6 not my usual size 8, which meant this little LBD was rather fitted on me (no 3 course meals in this dress). Having said that I still love the dress and the design is still a real winner for me. The dress has a simple black zip running down the back and a lovely unique cut across the shoulder which really gives the design a little edge.
I wore the dress for drinks the other week and styled it with my Marni heels which are always my go to shoes when i’m in need of some sleek black killer heels. I also added my Mulberry clutch bag which Jase bought me a few years ago to add a big colour pop to the otherwise black look.
What do you think of this Victoria LBD by Evocha? Are you a LBD fan, where’s your favourite classic LBD from?
