I love a good denim dress, i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. I love them. I don’t really know why, but over the last 3 months my denim dress collection has soared and I seem to now own about 5 or 6 denim dresses. Slightly unnecessary, sure. But i’m getting my wear out of them, and truly that’s all that matters.

This denim number is something I got from Warehouse in the summer. I’d originally got a white shift dress but after it arrived in the post I realised it just wasn’t the cut, colour or shape for me, so I swiftly returned and snapped up this bad boy instead. I actually featured it in another outfit post a few months back – here.

For this outfit I wanted something way more casual, something I could wear at the weekend, despite the fact it includes a mini body con dress. I swapped heels for my black leather Topshop shoes which are fab at dressing down any outfit, but maintaining a smart / chic vibe. I like to think of them as my school shoes ;) My leather jacket has to be my most worn accessory and I love wearing it with dresses as it just pulls the look down a few notches. It goes perfectly with the denim and the black shoes. The final touch is my hat … it just felt rude not to wear it.
