It’s fair to say I have a mild obsession with leather, and following from yesterdays leather mini skirt look todays outfit is of the leather trouser variety. Oh and coat too. However unlike yesterdays styled up, dressy leather look, todays outfit is far more laid back and casual.

These leather trousers are a new purchase of mine and something i’d been hunting for for ages. I already have leather leggings, but I wanted something more laid back which could be styled for work or a more casual weekend look. Other than £600 real leather designer trousers it was quite hard to find something that matched what I was looking for (i.e. not high waist, skinny & super dressy). However I stumbled across these heavy wax coat trousers in Zara and  after  hunting the high street high and low, decided to invest.

I’m really pleased with the trousers, they came up quite big too which I also really like as it keeps them slightly more laid back than skin tight trousers.  I wore them this week to work styled with my Zara studded ankle boots, my 2nd Day oversized tee and my new Miss Guided leopard print fur & leather coat. The finishing touch was my Mulberry Willow clutch bag, just to give the look a little twist.

This coat is also a new item of mine and something I absolutely love. It’s a Missguided number and so cool. The main body of the coat is a charcoal colour leather print fur, while the sleeves are leather look with bold zips on the cuffs. I mean, could this coat optimise my favourite trends anymore? I’ve been wearing a lot lately so expect to see it a lot more :)
