Lets be honest, what better combination is there for Autumn than leather and knitted garments? This Autumn i’m living in these two textures and love the versatility and styling opportunities that can be had. Perhaps my most go to combination is a leather skirt and a cosy knitted jumper, both comfy and chic it makes for a great sophisticated winter outfit.
This whole outfit (skirt and jumper) are picks from my Warehouse shoot I did a little while back (where the photos sadly got lost – sob sob sob). I’m so glad I picked both these garments as i’ve worn them so many times already. They look fab styled together but equally cool with other items. I’ve been wearing this green knitted jumper a lot with skinny jeans and ankle boots to work and the skirt looks fab smartened up with a chic cami and blazer.
I’ve worn this exact outfit a couple of times now, it’s a fail safe combination. I wore this to work a few weeks back and also for brunch for a causal Sunday day out. I really like the concept of styling a mini leather skirt with chunky ankle boots and a chunky or oversized knitted jumper. My Oldbury satchel and burgundy office boots were the perfect accompaniments to finish the look.

Loving the jumper, it’s the perfect emerald green by the looks of it! I never thought I would say this, but the green and red shoes also work really well together!
