Well what a whirlwind that’s been, Christmas has been and gone already, I love the build up to Christmas, the excitement, planning, festive spirit and merriment but it always feels rather a shock come the 27th when it’s officially over. Luckily for me I have booked a good break off work so will be spending now until 6th January visiting family, continuing to celebrate the festive period including NYE, and spending every day looking through all my incredible presents (they’re all on my Instagram but I may do a proper blog post too) and probably dabbling in a spot of sales shopping too.

What I will be doing over the next few days though is keeping things quite chilled out outfit wise. I always like to dress up on Christmas and Boxing day given it’s a special occasion (and obviously there’s the whole matter of NYE outfits too), so for now I’ll be opting for cosy knit jumpers and simple black leather trousers, finishing my looks off with a fedora (I treated myself to a burgundy one before Christmas too). This outfit is a favourite look of mine for laid back days, it looks chic but feels super comfy.
Over the next few days I plan to share my outfits from Christmas and Boxing day, my potential NYE look and potentially my Christmas presents too … would that be of interest?
What do you think of this look? What’s your typical outfit for a more laid back day? What do you have planned for the remainder of the Christmas break?
