It’s not my usual style, but this year I seem to keep purchasing a loved item in multiple colours. This little leather dress is something I bought in white back in the summer, I absolutely loved it and wore it loads, so when winter hit and I could no longer wear it (it’d look terrible with tights) I started really missing it. Thankfully I noticed a few weeks back, that it was now available in black. Without much consideration at all I bought the black version and have been living in it all winter.

The reason I love this dress quite so much is that it’s so versatile … I’ve worn it for work and for evenings out (parties and dinners). Its also really easy to wear and requires no effort at all, no matter how many mince pies i’ve scoffed it fits like a dream and it’s such a soft leather it makes for a very comfortable outfit despite the dressy appearance.
I wore this outfit for a Christmas party a week or so ago (wow, time flies), I styled it with my Office suede boots (which I actually also own in two colours – case in point!!) for a classy and only slight heel and finished the look with my glam fur coat and my new fedora (I couldn’t resist it). I love this outfit combination and this styling is definitely something i’ll do again for the dress when I get another opportunity to dress up.

    i do the same, mostly with shoes. If there’s a pair I like and they come in another colour, I’ll usually buy them.

    I used to buy these very boy-ish sweaters in every colour, but I’m over that now.
    LOVE your blog btw, you’re a huge inspiration for me, blogging as good as everyday for such a long time, I could only dream of managing to do that!

    Good post. I be taught one thing tougher on completely different blogs everyday.
