It’s my Birthday 1 week tomorrow, I get surprisingly excited about Birthdays, I see them as a fab chance to spend quality fun time with friends and family, plus a chance to treat yourself and be treated to all those things you’d love to have but just don’t need. Never a practical present on a birthday. My birthday falls on the Easter bank holiday weekend this year, which theoretically is amazing, although in reality may be spent at work given how much is going on right now, which truly would suck. With a week to go i’m trying to keep upbeat and optimistic that my weekend plans will not be cancelled … brunch at Duck & Waffle, followed by a cheeky dinner chez moi with my family, followed by a trip back to Winchester for a fun BBQ party with my friends (I do it every year) … finished off with Sunday and Monday spent chilling on a beach in Cornwall. Dreamy.

Anyway, back to the ‘important’ part, the birthday wishlist … the list of all the things i’m dreaming of right now. I’ve created a little Pinterest birthday list which currently includes lots of Spring Summer clothes i’m lusting after as well as some beauty & home bits I love. I always like to add a little something extravagant to my list, partly as a joke & partly in case I decide to use my birthday as an excuse to buy myself a little birthday present too. This year that item is a Phillip Lim 3.1 pashli bag. Whilst it’s a rather extravagant treat, Jase has offered to help put some money into it for my birthday present, and the rest will be a present from me, to me :)
