TRANSITIONAL SPRING

April 9, 2014

. ZARA SUMMER COAT .

Continuing on my week of transitional dressing and bracing my wardrobe for Spring sunshine, I’m sharing another look today which not only features my new Whistles jeans again but also one of my favourite Spring outerwear garments which delivers transitional dressing to a T,
.Whistles Jeans £95. Zara Moccasins £79.99 . Topshop Reptile Sweater £48 . Mulberry Satchel .Zara Green Coat (old) .
When transitioning between seasons it’s always a balance between desperately wantting to wear all your new summer clothes that the high street won’t stop teasing us with and making sure we’re still warm and appropriately attired in the decieving temperatures that April can often throw at us. Glorious blue skies but a cheeky chill to catch us off  guard.
My new Whistles sknnies are spot on for Spring dressing, jeans are an easy item to style for any weather condition. I styled my new skinnies with my Topshop reptile white jumper and my Zara patent moccasins for a ‘West London’ esque chic work wear look. I finished the outfit with a summer coat, probably one of my favourite types of coats!! This Zara green straight coat was an item I treated myself to last Summer and got SO much wear out of. It’s chic, classy and suitably summary. It’s a great add on to any Spring / Summer outfit and helps keep you a touch more warm than you would otherwise be. The final touch was actually my Mulberry satchel … my first ever Mulberry which I received for my 19th Birthday from my dad. I still love it as much to this day, if not more.

It all looks great :) I can’t get enough of shiny shoes at the moment and I’m so happy to finally be ditching the boots! xxx
