. FLIRTY SUMMER DRESS .

Holding onto summer for a little bit longer in a flirty summer dress from Sheinside, this pastel pink and blue floral number is the sort of attire you’d want to pop on with some slinky heels and trot along to the races in. Sadly I’m not quite doing that, but a trip to France is providing the perfect occasion to get some more wear out of this years summer dresses.

I kept the dress classy, pairing it with my Zara pumps & my French Connection Ziggy jacket. There’s nothing like throwing a jacket over your shoulders to make you feel slightly more decadent. It’s just handy that the jacket went perfectly with the blue flowers in the dress and my navy patent pumps.

Today i’m flying out to the North of France to join my family for the last few days of their two week  holibob. Sadly work didn’t allow for me to join for the whole two weeks, but thanks to the bank holiday I’m still getting a good 5 days and a super long bank holiday weekend. It wasn’t all that long Jase and I were in Crete, but it already feels like 100 years ago. Sunshine is calling my name … although i’m not sure the North of France currently has much more to offer than our shoddy English weather. Everything’s crossed for a mini heatwave.
