. SUMMER ACCESSORIES EDIT.

Every now and then I like to take check and do a little feature on my favourite accessories of the moment. You’re no doubt familiar with the most of these, after all they’ve been featured in goodness knows how many different outfit posts. I tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to accessorising my looks, forever wearing the same ‘staple’ jewellery, & I become routine about my bag, hat & shoe of choice for weeks on end. Barely venturing to try anything new. These last few months have been no different, and these items are the ones that have been firmly featured throughout.

HANDBAGS: My Celine Nano has of course been my number one partner in crime this summer, since investing in this incredible mini handbag i’ve not found a single look i’ve not wanted to wear it with. Its chic, simple & as precious as a little baby. Having said that, I have also been sporting a couple more casual bags for everyday wear (the Celine is still being treated like a precious princess for best occasions only). The other two bags I’ve been going to lately are my DKNY Tribeca shoulder bag in cobalt blue & my new Zara beige faux lather drawstring bag. My DKNY tribeca was a serious hit, it’s been my go to day time bag this summer & was the bag I decided to take away on holiday with me too. It’s a fabulous colour & adds a bit of oomph to any outfit. The Zara faux leather bag is a far more chic affair, but given the price tag more suitable for everyday use than my darling Nano. It’s become my daily work bag & looks fab styled with my more office wear looks.

SHOES: My Birkenstocks are of course featured, i’ve not stopped wearing these sandals since I gave in and made a cheeky Net-A-Porter order. I debated long and hard about buying these shoes, after all they are known as the Ugly Shoe, but there revolution in the fashion world did a good job of changing my mind. And i’m glad it did, the most comfortable but effortlessly chic shoe in my cupboard.

HATS: My fedora collection has been growing rather rapidly, and this grey fedora is the 5th in my collection and has filled the missing whole of ‘grey’. I bought this fedora earlier in the year in a super cute lilac colour, and after getting some seriously good wear out of the hat & deciding the shape & fit was perfect for my head I thought I may as well buy it in every colour. It’s also an absolute bargain currently in the sale for £12 (reduced down from £30). Who could possibly resist?

SUNGLASSES: I’ve always been a huge Rayban fan, but after The Sunglasses Shop offered me a new pair this summer, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the clubmaster. These sunnies are such a cool, bold & funky design I fell in love instantly. Terrified they wouldn’t suit me (i’d have still worn them) it was a huge relief when Jase & my sister said they actually worked well. JEWELLERY: As mentioned, my day to day jewellery simply never changes, I wear the same pieces day in day out (as i’m sure you’ve well noticed), but this summer I did add a couple of new bracelets to my daily jewels, my links of London friendship bracelet & my new Trollbeads charm bracelet with sibling charm. These bracelets have adorned my wrists daily & have fast become staple accessories. I also rotate in a  new watch, forever loving Daniel Wellington I have been rotating between by St Andrews and my new Sheffield watch (black leather). I love that the Sheffield has a more chic, professional style to it, it’s been perfect to wear to work this summer.
