ANIMAL INSTINCTS

September 18, 2014

. DOUBLE FAUX FUR .

As with yesterdays double fur debut, today’s look is much the same. Sporting two faux furs in one look in my pony effect ankle boots from Office and my leopard clutch which is a newbie from Boden. It seems to be my favourite texture right now and i’m subtly seeding it in to all my outfits.
. MISSGUIDED TRENCH COAT . OFFICE MERCY CHELSEA PONY ANKLE BOOTS .
. BODEN LEOPARD CLUTCH . SUGARHILL BOUTIQUE SIENNA SHORTS .

This look is a monochrome ensemble I sported last weekend whilst having a quick dash around the shops & a late brunch with my sister. The look is actually full of newbie items to my wardrobe, some gorgeous high waist black lace shorts from Sugarhill Boutique (absolutely perfect fit & cut), a new sleeveless black trench from Missguided and of course my pony effect Office ankle boots and my Boden leopard print clutch bag!
I’ve wanted a pair of shorts like this for a long while now, but i’m always worried about them looking to skimpy or too fitted on le derriere, but these Sugarhill sienna shorts are absolutely perfect, they never fail to deliver on design and fit & these lace trimmed black shorts are exactly what I was after. Plus of course they work perfectly with my punchy little clutch courtesy of Boden’s new collection. I love a bit of print, let alone faux fur printed clutch bags! An easy way to give any look a little vavavoom!

What do you think of this relaxed styling & faux fur accessorised look?

When you said ‘double faux fur’ I imagined the really fluffy stuff – but I think with the short, chic stuff it can look just fine, as you’ve managed to demonstrate!

Leopard print is the perfect pop to a monochrome outfit. Looking lovely.
