THE TEDDY BEAR COAT

There’s nothing like a bit of faux fur in my mind, I have a few fur coats already piled into my overflowing coat wardrobe, a couple of chocolate numbers from the likes of Topshop (going on 4 years old by this point) and a few gorgeous cream numbers (one of which is a cropped cream faux fur beauty Liza bought me from a charity shop in Tetbury last year), but hey who says there’s a limit on fur coats? No one. So I bought myself another this Autumn. A creamy, luxurious and utterly chic number from Zara’s new collection. It’s a coat both my sister and I have admired ever since it graced their online showroom (it’s hardly an online shop anymore) and being the weaker of the two, I broke and bought it last week!

If I could describe my perfect faux fur coat, or the sort of coat which suits my personality and style the most, it would be this coat. Oversized, rather statement, totally cosy and warm & just desperately chic, it ticks all my boxes! This coat is going to be my partner in crime for the next 6 months, I might even have to sleep in it, it’s just so warm! And it’s just a bonus that teddy bear coats seem to be the latest thing at Fashion Week this season!

Fur coats aren’t my only faux fur indulgence, i’m also sporting a cheeky bit of fur on my booties too. These Mercy Chelsea pony effect ankle boots are a newbie from Office and the coolest boots – black leather, slightly heeled, and pony hair front! I mean, what more could you need in a boot.  I teamed them with my fur coat this weekend to sport a bit of double fur! I think it kinda works!
