AUTUMN SUN

Sometimes light just makes a picture, as with yesterday’s low light pictures from the beach, today’s post captures the light perfectly too, this time as the sun sets over the flintstone walls of my home town! There’s something about golden hour which creates the most beautiful hue in an image, golden orange beams gleaming through the sky & light spots bouncing off the corners of an image. If I had my way i’d shoot every outfit with the sun decorating the sky, weather that be dawn, golden hour or even a beautifully bright day with more light than you’d know what to do with.

These pictures were shot a couple of weekends ago whilst I was back in Winchester seeing my family and friends. My friend Kat and I popped into town with my sister for a cheeky coffee before a little ikea spree and shot these pictures just before the sun went down. I was sporting my new fur coat which I would sleep in if only it was more acceptable, my whistles skinny jeans which I encourage everyone to buy because they’re simply the best fitting jeans I own, and my little leather tunic from Topshop. I accessorised with a little glamour and sported my new Office heels & Celine Nano. These heeled sandals are my 3rd pair duck egg blue / paris grey leather shoe this season, firstly my topshop keepsake sandals, then my Office garland sandals and now these Office garnet cuff block heels. I just can’t get enough of this colour leather. This look will be what I spend most of the autumnal weekends living in, comfy, chic & cosy!
