. PONY HAIR BOOTIES & FAUX FUR JACKET .
Sometimes when i’m having a bit of a lazy day and not really fussed about what i’m wearing, i’ll just throw on a jeans and jumper kinda look, pin my hair in a big bun & just ditch heavy eye makeup in favour for sunnies & a drop of rouge on the lips. Sometimes this looks like i’ve just rolled out of bed and drunk a litre of gin the night before, other times the look kinda works and creates a sort of laid back east London kind of vibe. This week the latter happened, i threw on an outfit and it actually looked pretty cool. You may have already spotted it on my instagram here, but today i’m sharing the full monty on my blog.
. JAMES JEANS SKINNIES . OFFICE PONY EFFECT BOOTIES . TOPSHOP WHITE LEATHER JUMPER .
. RAYBAN CLUBMASTERS . CELINE NANO . ZARA FUR COAT.
My outfit du jour was my James Jeans charcoal skinnies (a pair I got from Jeanology last year which I still wear constantly now, absolutely dream fitting & great quality), my reptile white leather jumper from Topshop (semi-cropped so looks fab with slightly high waisted jeans like these) and my new Office Mercy Chelsea pony effect booties. The look itself is totally laid back but somehow when it all comes together looks pretty cool … maybe it’s my fur coat & the Celine Nano. I mean they are game changers.
As for the off duty ballerina bun, this isn’t something I sport often on my blog but in ‘real life’ wear a lot – with long thick hair often I can’t be bothered with the taming required to wear it down. The ballerina bun is my staple off duty look!
What’s your off duty look?
